4 All offer a good start to creating an access
improvement plan for your organisation.
The Disability Discrimination Act 2004 includes a duty for
nearly all service providers (people providing a service to the
public) to provide reasonable adjustments to physical barriers
in their premises.
The Disability Right's Commission's Code of Practice says
that organisations are more likely to be able to comply with
their duties under the DDA by arranging for an access
audit.

What is an Access Audit?
Access Auditing is the start to setting up a clearly defined
solution ensuring everything within reason is carried out to
improve accessibility for all. Fully trained staff members will
provide a written report and make various recommendations
carries it out.
